Estudio etnográfico de participación social en salud mental en un centro de salud mental comunitario en Perú

Abstract

Este trabalho é uma pesquisa etnográfica qualitativa para compreender a participação social na Reforma da Saúde Mental do Peru e em um Centro Comunitário de Saúde Mental que é uma política amplamente realizada nos últimos anos como parte do enfoque comunitário em saúde mental, abordo a esta realidade social e histórica para pensar a participação social. Desse modo, o estudo buscou compreender as potencialidades, limitações, cotidiano, motivações e dificuldades da participação social em saúde mental, compreender a realidade das equipes de trabalho nesta reforma, a participação social e política de usuários, familiares e associações dos local onde realizamos o estudo. Para pensar a participação social em saúde mental, buscamos legislações sobre reformas políticas em saúde mental e participação cidadã em saúde, nos aprofundamos na realidade que se abriu como nova a um atendimento dentro do Centro Comunitário de Saúde Mental para a participação social e comunitária. Utilizei uma abordagem etnográfica para realizar um estudo qualitativo com entrevistas e observações durante a elaboração do diário de campo, bem como narrativas gravadas. A análise do material coletado permitiu encontrar momentos reflexivos para estudar a participação social em saúde mental em um distrito do sul do Peru, considerando as características de uma população migrante andina e com valores e costumes típicos desses povos. Este trabalho torna-se uma contribuição nos estudos da participação social em saúde mental para as reformas em saúde mental peruana iniciadas recentemente, que se estenderão por um sistema de saúde fragmentado e uma sociedade com ampla diversidade cultural, linguística e história peruana e latino-americana.

This work is a qualitative ethnographic investigation to understand the social participation in the Mental Health Care Reform of Peru and a Community Mental Health Center that is a policy widely carried out in recent years as part of the community focus on mental health, and I approach this social and historical reality to think about social participation. In this way, the study sought to understand the potentialities, limitations, daily life, motivations and difficulties of social participation in mental health, to understand the reality of the work teams in this reform, the social and political participation of users, families and associations of the locality where we carry out the study. To think about social participation in mental health, we seek legislation on political reforms in mental health and citizen participation in health, we delve into the reality that a service within the Center for Community Mental Health for social and community participation opened up as new. I used an ethnographic approach to carry out a qualitative study with interviews and observations during the preparation of the field diary, as well as recording narratives. The analysis of the collected material was able to find reflective moments to study social participation in mental health in a district in southern Peru, considering the characteristics of an Andean migrant population and with values and customs typical of these peoples. This work becomes a contribution in the studies of social participation in mental health for the reforms in Peruvian mental health recently begun, it will extend through a fragmented health system and a society with a wide cultural diversity, linguistic and Peruvian and Latin American history.
