Centro de material e esterilização : o trabalho da enfermagem frente às inovações tecnológicas

Abstract

O centro de material e esterilização tem passado por diversas transformações, impulsionadas pela adoção de novas tecnologias no hospital. Assim, o objetivo do estudo foi compreender as perspectivas dos trabalhadores em relação a sua atividade laboral no centro de material e esterilização frente às mudanças de área física e inovações tecnológicas. Estudo qualitativo realizado com 19 trabalhadores de enfermagem da unidade de um hospital universitário, em junho de 2019. Foi realizado uma entrevista coletiva com os participantes com três questões norteadoras. As informações foram submetidas a análise temática. Emergiram duas categorias temáticas: Contribuições das Inovações Tecnológicas no Trabalho do CME e Comunicação e Conhecimento dos Processos de Trabalho da unidade. A pesquisa obteve aprovação do comitê de ética institucional. Conclui-se que as inovações tecnológicas no centro de material e esterilização interferem positivamente no processo de trabalho, contudo a comunicação entre os trabalhadores continua sendo um fator humano que não pode ser substituído, precisa ser assertiva para garantir a eficácia do processo.

The material and sterilization center has undergone several transformations, driven by the adoption of new technologies in the hospital. Thus, the objective of the study was to understand the perspectives of workers in relation to their work activity in the material and sterilization center in the face of changes in the physical area and technological innovations. A qualitative study was carried out with 19 nursing workers from a university hospital unit, in June 2019. A collective interview was held with the participants with three guiding questions. The information was subjected to thematic analysis. Two thematic categories emerged: Contributions of Technological Innovations in the Work of the CME and Communication and Knowledge of the Unit's Work Processes. The research was approved by the institutional ethics committee. It is concluded that technological innovations in the material and sterilization center positively interfere in the work process, however communication between workers continues to be a human factor that cannot be replaced, it needs to be assertive to guarantee the effectiveness of the process.
