Troços, tarecos e burundangas : o processo de criação dos trajes do cangaço para os brincantes do Paralelo 30

Abstract

Troços, Tarecos e Burundangas aborda o processo de construção do traje de cangaceiro desenvolvido para o Projeto de Extensão Grupo de Brincantes do Paralelo 30 – Folclore e Cultura Popular da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), no ano de 2011. O trabalho tem como objetivo investigar os diferentes aspectos compreendidos na concepção da vestimenta. A ação de revisitar o processo de criação possibilita ao Grupo de Brincantes refletir sobre a sua prática. O trabalho contribui também por tornar o processo de concepção da indumentária acessível ao leitor. A pesquisa iniciou por um referencial teórico acerca dos temas: cangaço, dança popular, indumentárias, cultura e educação. Este estudo foi articulado com o meu relato sobre o processo e com as perspectivas de outros participantes do projeto de extensão, coletadas por meio de entrevistas. O trabalho tem caráter qualitativo e foi realizado sob uma perspectiva transdisciplinar. Tal postura também permeia os fazeres do grupo, que se preocupa em abranger a complexidade da cultura popular e que cria a partir dos diversos elementos que atravessam os movimentos dos dançantes. Da articulação entre as diversas perspectivas sobre o processo emergiram reflexões acerca das estratégias criadas pelo grupo para confeccionar o traje, do processo de individuação de cada brincante em contato com o seu traje, da relação entre o traje e o brincante em cena, e do processo enquanto ação educativa. Assim, a pesquisa foca nas interações que constituem o processo criativo, entendendo que este segue acontecendo, e que outras tantas relações podem ser percebidas.

Troços, Tarecos e Burundangas discusses the process of building the cangaceiro´s costume developed for the Group Brincantes of Paralelo 30 - Folklore and Popular Culture of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in 2011. The study aims to investigate the different aspects included in the design of the garb. The action of revisiting the creation process enables the group Brincantes to reflect on their practice, and also contributes to making the process of designing clothing accessible to the reader. The research began with a theoretical reading on the topics: cangaço, folk dancing, costumes, culture and education. This study was made with my reports on the process, and with the perspectives of other participants of the group, collected through interviews. The study is qualitative and was conducted under a transdisciplinary perspective. This attitude also permeates the doings of the group, who cares to address the complexity of popular culture and create from the various elements that go through the motions of dancing. From the articulation between the different perspectives on the process, emerged reflections on the strategies created by the group for making the costume, the process of individuation of each one in touch with your costume, the relationship between costume and a person on the scene, and the process while educational action. Thus, the research focuses on the interactions that constitute the creative process, understanding that this is still happening, and many other relations can be perceived.
