"Só pega essa doença quem quer"? : tramas entre gênero, sexualidade e vulnerabilidade à infecção pelo HIV/aids

Abstract

A pesquisa desenvolvida buscou investigar as articulações entre gênero, sexualidade e vulnerabilidade à infecção pelo HIV, inspirando-se em estudos de gênero pós-estruturalistas, de sociologia da saúde e vulnerabilidade. Utilizei como estratégia metodológica a entrevista narrativa, a partir da qual 8 mulheres soropositivas e/ou doentes de aids, tendo como referência suas trajetórias de vida, realizaram depoimentos sobre fatores que podem conduzir à infecção pelo HIV. As instâncias de aprendizagem sobre gênero e sexualidade, envolvendo a participação da família, escola e mídia, bem como os diferentes componentes (individuais, sociais e programáticos) da vulnerabilidade, foram abordados nas análises, procurando articular depoimentos selecionados com estudos já desenvolvidos sobre estes temas. Destacou-se a importância de repensar abordagens educativas individualizantes utilizadas em ações de prevenção a HIV/aids, situando os sujeitos em contextos sócio-econômico-culturais e assistenciais que, de modo articulado, irão interferir em maiores ou menores possibilidades de efetivar a prevenção.

The developed research seeked to investigate the articulations between gender, sexuality and vulnerability to the infection by HIV, inspiring itself in studies of a post-structuralist gender, of health sociology and vulnerability. I used the narrative interview as methodological strategy, from which 8 women with HIV-positive and/or with aids, having as reference their life trajectories, realized testimonials about factors that may lead to the infection by HIV. The learning instances about gender and sexuality, involving the participation of the family, school and media, as well as the different components (individual, social and programmatic) of vulnerability, were approached in the analysis, trying to articulate selected testimonials with studies already developed about those themes. The importance of representing individualizing educational approaches used in actions of preventing HIV and aids stood out, situating the subjects in social-economic-cultural and assistential contexts that, in an articulate method, will interfere in bigger or smaller possibilites to make prevention effective.
