Desenvolvimento e validação de método por cromatografia para determinação de ticagrelor em comprimidos revestidos

Abstract

Ticagrelor is an orally active, reversibly binds of the P2Y12 receptor that can prevent ADP-mediated platelet activation and has a faster onset of action. A stability-indicating HPLC method for the determination of ticagrelor in coated tables was developed and validated. Chromatographic analysis were performed in a Shimadzu liquid chromatograph, equipped with Phemomenex® C18 column (250x4.6 mm, 5 μm), using a mobile phase composed of acetonitrile:water:triethylamine (57:43:0.5 v/v/v) pH 7.0, at 0.7 mL/min flow and injection volume of 20 μL. The proposed method was successfully applied to ticagrelor in coated tables, showing the method is useful for determination of the drug in routine analysis.
