O papel do PRONAF no processo de sucessão rural no município de Serafina Corrêa - RS

Abstract

A utilização de recursos da política pública do Pronaf na agricultura familiar é um tema bem considerado no processo de sucessão rural. O Pronaf fomenta uma diversidade de públicos, inserindo crédito para investimentos nas atividades desenvolvidas na agricultura. O estudo foi realizado com o intuito de identificar os aspectos positivos e negativos do uso do Pronaf no processo de sucessão rural de cinco propriedades da agricultura familiar de Serafina Corrêa-RS. Para isso foi utilizado um questionário que foi aplicado nessas cinco propriedades, onde os resultados em relação a sucessão rural foram positivos, em propriedades maiores e mais desenvolvidas, com maior número de investimentos, onde os jovens demonstraram interesse em permanecer trabalhando nas atividades desenvolvidas nas propriedades. As propriedades que usam recursos do Pronaf, mas menos capitalizadas possuem jovens morando na propriedade, mas sem interesse de permanecer, desenvolvendo outras atividades fora da propriedade. Com isso, o Pronaf mostrou-se eficiente quando utilizado juntamente com o fomento de assistência técnica, o que ajuda a viabilizar os investimentos e com um público que investe juntamente com os jovens relacionando-os nas atividades rurais.

The use of Pronaf's public policy resources in family farming is a well considered theme in the process of rural succession. Pronaf promotes a diversity of publics, inserting credit for investments in activities developed in agriculture. The study was carried out with the purpose of identifying the positive and negative aspects of the use of Pronaf in the process of rural succession of five properties of the family agriculture of Serafina Corrêa-RS. For this, a questionnaire was used that was applied in these five properties, where the results in relation to the rural succession were positive, in larger and more developed properties, with a greater number of investments, where the young people showed interest in remaining working in the activities developed in the properties. Properties that use Pronaf resources, but less capitalized, have young people living on the property, but not interested in staying, developing other activities outside the property. With this, Pronaf proved to be efficient when used in conjunction with the promotion of technical assistance, which helps to make investments feasible and with a public that invests with young people relating them to rural activities.
