Abstract

Como me formo um artista? Como me formo um professor? Como me transformo num professor-artista? O presente trabalho é um estudo sobre a prática do “professor artista” e sua relação com a atividade do ensino de teatro e fazer artístico. Representa uma tentativa de teorizar uma pesquisa que vem sendo realizada na prática, há muitos anos, a partir da experiência pessoal como ator e professor de teatro na oficina de Teatro Expressão e Criatividade. Apresenta um retorno às memórias, um ordenamento dos fatos mais relevantes, onde retornamos às primeiras experiências, primeiro contato com a arte, com o teatro e com a docência. Busca estimular a reflexão sobre as potências do cruzamento entre as práticas profissionais: atuar, e lecionar.

How do I graduate as an artist? How do I graduate a teacher? How do I become a teacher-artist? The present work is a study about the practice of the “artist teacher” and its relation with the activity of the theater teaching and artistic making. It represents an attempt to theorize research that has been carried out in practice for many years from personal experience as an actor and drama teacher at the Expression and Creativity Theater workshop. It presents a return to memories, an ordering of the most relevant facts, where we return to the first experiences, first contact with art, theater and teaching. It seeks to stimulate reflection on the potentials of the intersection between professional practices: acting, and teaching.
