Análise de delimitação de corredores verdes urbanos em áreas consolidadas

Abstract

O fundamento principal de um corredor verde urbano é unir espaços verdes urbanos que foram fragmentados pela crescente urbanização através de uma faixa ou corredor caracterizado pela abundante vegetação, agregado a estratégias sustentáveis. Além disso, eles fornecem múltiplas finalidades, incluindo a ecológica, recreativa, cultural e social. Entretanto, a sua aplicação em áreas urbanizadas carece de diretrizes adaptadas, uma vez que o conceito inicial de corredores verdes surgiu em um contexto norte-americano, com aspectos divergentes das cidades brasileiras. Nesse sentido, o objetivo central desta dissertação é desenvolver diretrizes para a delimitação de corredores verdes urbanos, de forma que possam ser aplicadas em áreas consolidadas de cidades brasileiras. A estratégia de pesquisa empregada é a construtiva (design science research), a qual se dividiu em três etapas. A Etapa A consistiu no embasamento teórico a partir da revisão de literatura, que teve como finalidade a compreensão sobre os temas relacionados à pesquisa e definição do método de análise multicritério AHP. Na etapa B, ocorreu a ponderação dos pesos obtidos na aplicação análise multicritério AHP e o desenvolvimento das diretrizes propostas. Já a etapa C teve como fito a avaliação do artefato desenvolvido, neste caso, as diretrizes e, por meio de um experimento controlado, aplicou-se uma simulação no perímetro urbano de Passo Fundo/RS, com procedimentos de sobreposição de mapas temáticos por intermédio do SIG. A partir disso, são apresentados os resultados relacionados à utilidade e à aplicabilidade sobre as diretrizes desenvolvidas para delimitar os corredores verdes urbanos em áreas consolidadas de cidades brasileiras e as considerações finais e contribuições da pesquisa. Portanto, espera-se que esta pesquisa possa contribuir para essa delimitação dos corredores verdes em áreas urbanas com integrações que possibilitem a melhoria da qualidade dos ambientes urbanizados e que se possa planejar cidades mais verdes e saudáveis.

The main fundament of urban greenway is to connect significative urban green spaces that was fragmented by the urbanization growth through a band or a corridor characterized by the abundant vegetation, aggregated with sustainable strategies. Besides that, it has multiples objectives, including ecological, recreational, cultural and social. However, the adoption in urban areas needs dedicated guidelines, once the initial concept of the greenways emerged in a North American context, with divergent aspects from the Brazilian cities. In this sense, the main goal of this dissertation is to develop guidelines for the delimitation of urban greenways, that it can be applied in consolidated areas of Brazilian cities. The research strategy used is the constructive (design science research), which was split in three steps. The step A was the theoretical base from the literature revision, which had as a goal the understanding about the themes related to the research and definition of the multicriteria analysis method AHP. On step B, it was made the ponderation of the weighs obtained from the application of the AHP multicriteria analysis and the development of the proposed guidelines. During step C, it was made the evaluation of the developed tool, in this case, the guidelines and, by a controlled experimentation, it was applied a simulation in the urban area of Passo Fundo/RS, with the procedure of overlapping the theme maps through SIG. From this, it is presented the results related to the utility and applicability from the guidelines developed to delimit the greenways in consolidated areas of Brazilian cities and the final considerations and research contributions. Thus, it is expected that this research can contribute for the delimitation of the greenways in urban areas with integrations that can make possible the quality improvement of the urban ambiance and the planning of greener and healthier cities.
