Direito à moradia das famílias removidas e reassentadas do Bairro Cristal de Porto Alegre/RS

Abstract

O presente estudo consiste no Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso de Serviço Social da UFRGS e apresenta resultados de uma pesquisa, que tem como objetivo contribuir com reflexões sobre as estratégias de luta pela moradia e tem por intenção evidenciar as formas de efetivação do direito à moradia ou da negação destes direitos por parte dos sujeitos que vivenciaram a remoção e reassentamento no bairro Cristal, no município de Porto Alegre, no período de 2017 a 2018. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa foi do tipo exploratório de campo e utilizou-se de revisão bibliográfica e documental. O método materialista histórico-dialético orientou a pesquisa. A pesquisa evidenciou que o trabalho dos e das Assistentes Sociais contribui muito para a organização e mobilização da comunidade. Evidencia ainda que a dimensão pedagógica da profissão se faz presente, e o acesso à informação sobre o direito à moradia foi foco do trabalho do serviço social.

This study consists of the Final Paper of Social Work bachelor degree at UFRGS and presents the results of a research, which aims to contribute with reflections on the strategies of struggle for housing and intends to highlight the forms of realization of the right to housing or of the denial of these rights by the subjects who experienced the removal and resettlement in the Cristal neighborhood, in the city of Porto Alegre, from 2017 to 2018. The methodology used in the research was of the exploratory field type and used a literature review and documentary. The historical-dialectical materialist method guided the research. The research showed that the work of Social Workers contributes a lot to the organization and mobilization of the community. It also shows that the pedagogical dimension of the profession is present, and access to information about the right to housing was the focus of the work of Social Work.
