Trajetórias de mulheres negras empreendedoras e pandemia de Covid-19 em Porto Alegre (RS)

Abstract

O estudo tem como foco principal abordar questões que envolvem o empreender da mulher negra, pois ainda antes da pandemia da Covid-19, em suas trajetórias já vinha superando e resistindo a diversas barreiras. É perceptível que as dificuldades impostas às mulheres negras na sociedade refletem diretamente em seus empreendimentos. Dessa forma, optou-se por compreender as trajetórias das mulheres negras no empreendedorismo. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo para recolhimento dessas trajetórias, por meio de entrevistas temáticas com dados biográficos de oito mulheres negras empreendedoras da região de Porto Alegre. Os resultados obtidos apontam que o que fez diferença para essas mulheres que possuem a capacidade de resiliência e de assumir risco, foi poder contar com uma rede de apoio formada por familiares, amigos, companheiros, grupo de empreendedores negros, de mulheres empreendedoras, associações e coletivos afros. Portanto, as transformações percebidas foram além dos negócios, houve mudanças em suas atitudes como empreendedoras de buscar novos caminhos e novas possibilidades em outros ramos.

The study's main focus is to address issues involving the entrepreneurship of black women, because even before the Covid-19 pandemic, in their trajectories they had already been overcoming and resisting various barriers. It is noticeable that the difficulties imposed on black women in society reflect directly on their ventures. Thus, we chose to understand the trajectories of black women in entrepreneurship. To this end, a field research was carried out to collect these trajectories, through thematic interviews with biographical data of eight black women entrepreneurs from the Porto Alegre region. The results obtained point out that what made the difference for these women, who have the capacity for resilience and risk-taking, was being able to count on a support network made up of family members, friends, companions, groups of black entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, associations, and afro-collectives. Therefore, the transformations perceived went beyond business; there were changes in their attitudes as entrepreneurs to seek new paths and new possibilities in other fields.
