O acesso à educação por travestis e mulheres trans nas prisões : uma revisão de literatura

Abstract

O presente trabalho trata-se de um estudo quali-quantitativo de caráter descritivo, que alinha-se ao Estado da Arte como forma de evidenciar a necessidade de pautar a temática escolhida como alvo necessário das produções acadêmicas, especificamente, no campo da educação. Considerando isso, na contemporaneidade, muito tem-se comentado sobre os discursos punitivistas que foram normalizados nas últimas décadas. Assim sendo, estudos na área das prisões que se contraponham ao punitivismo tornaram-se urgentes. Revisitar e repensar a legislação, o modelo prisional e as políticas públicas que são, ou não, efetivas é uma demanda interna e externa ao âmbito do sistema carcerário. Ao considerar os sujeitos que compõem os grupos apenados, surgiu um interesse particular em desenvolver este estudo com o enfoque nas travestis e mulheres trans, com a compreensão de que essas correspondem ao grupo mais segregado dentro de um espaço que já as segrega em primeira instância. Assim, faz-se necessário esta revisão de literatura, baseando-se na ideia de que a partir dela devem surgir reflexões efetivas e propositivas para o crescimento nas oportunidades de acesso à educação para o público em questão. Este estudo tem como objetivo compreender os conhecimentos produzidos por estudos acadêmicos brasileiros de 2014 a 2023 sobre o acesso à educação por travestis e mulheres transsexuais privadas de liberdade. Através da busca nas plataformas Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD) e a Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), foi possível perceber a escassez nas produções, o que afunila-se mais quando realiza-se o filtro por área, escolhendo somente as produções no campo da educação. A análise dos trabalhos encontrados também possibilita visualizar que as proposições precisam considerar a realidade da educação brasileira e o contexto socioeconômico vivenciado nacionalmente.

The present work is a qualitative and quantitative study of a descriptive nature, which is aligned with the State of the Art as a way of highlighting the need to guide the chosen theme as a necessary target of academic productions, specifically, in the field of education. Considering this, in contemporary times, much has been said about the punitive discourses that have been normalized in recent decades. Therefore, studies in the area of prisons that oppose punishment discourse have become urgent. Revisiting and rethinking legislation, the prison model and public policies that are, or are not, effective is an internal and external demand within the scope of the prison system. Considering the subjects that make up the incarcerated groups, a particular interest arose in developing this study with a focus on transvestites and trans women, with the understanding that these correspond to the most segregated group within a space that already segregates them in the first instance. Thus, this literature review is necessary, based on the idea that effective and purposeful reflections should arise from it for growth in opportunities for access to education for the public in question. This study aims to understand the knowledge produced by Brazilian academic studies from 2014 to 2023 on access to education by transvestites and transsexual women deprived of liberty. Through the search on the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) platforms, it was possible to perceive the scarcity in the productions, which narrows more when filtering by area, choosing only productions in the field of education. The analysis of the works found also makes it possible to visualize that the propositions need to consider the reality of Brazilian education and the socioeconomic context experienced nationally.
