Os Superpoderes de Breno : design de livro infantil como apoio à inclusão de crianças com TEA no ensino fundamental

Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta o desenvolvimento do projeto gráfico de um livro físico infantil ilustrado, sobre o tema Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) na infância. O projeto busca ser acessível a crianças que estão no início da alfabetização, que possuem ou não TEA, e o produto final visa ser um material de apoio para professores dos anos iniciais trabalharem o tema TEA em sala-de-aula. O protagonista da história é um personagem com TEA, para estimular a empatia entre as crianças no ambiente escolar, além de promover o sentimento de representatividade, tornando assim a sala-de-aula um ambiente acolhedor para todos. Tendo em vista a acessibilidade, foi realizada uma pesquisa detalhada sobre o público alvo, envolvendo a construção de um referencial teórico e também a execução de entrevistas com especialistas da área da pedagogia e psicologia, além de mães de crianças com TEA, buscando compreender as características e necessidades deste público que deveriam ser atendidas pelo trabalho. Além disso, foi aplicado um Sistema Pictográfico de Comunicação em todo o livro. O processo foi feito com uma metodologia baseada no design thinking, dividida em seis etapas: Construção do briefing; Pesquisa; Definição do projeto; Geração de ideias; Finalização do projeto; Conclusão. O texto original do livro foi escrito por Lisiane Olsen, pedagoga, e ao longo do projeto houve modificações e adaptações do texto, levando-se em conta a obtenção de uma escrita simples, com o objetivo de facilitar a sua interpretação pelo público alvo do projeto.

This work presents the development of the graphic design of a physical, illustrated children's book on the subject of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in childhood. The project aims to be accessible to children who are at the beginning of literacy, whether or not they have ASD, and the final product aims to be a support material for teachers in the early years to work on the ASD theme in the classroom. The protagonist of the story is a character with ASD, to stimulate empathy among children in the school environment, as well as to promote a feeling of representation, thus making the classroom a comfortable environment for all. With accessibility in mind, a detailed study was conducted on the target audience, involving the construction of a theoretical framework and the execution of interviews with experts in pedagogy and psychology, as well as mothers of children with ASD, to understand the characteristics and needs of this audience that should be met by the work. Additionally, a Pictographic Communication System was applied throughout the book. The process was carried out with a methodology based on design thinking, divided into six stages: Construction of the briefing; Research; Project Definition; Idea Generation; Project Finalization; Conclusion. The original text of the book was written by Lisiane Olsen, a pedagogue, and throughout the project, there were modifications and adaptations of the text, taking into account the achievement of simple writing, with the aim of facilitating its interpretation by the target audience of the project.
