Proposta de ensino de Geografia para os alunos do Ensino Fundamental a partir do livro O Pequeno Príncipe : uma experiência na Biblioteca Pública Municipal de Nova Petrópolis, RS

Abstract

O trabalho apresenta uma proposta de atividades interdisciplinares entre Geografia e Literatura, com o objetivo de oferecer atividades mais lúdicas e prazerosas para os alunos dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental. Além disso, propõe um trabalho que une Geografia e Literatura como uma alternativa para o uso de diferentes linguagens nos espaços educativos. Ao integrar a Literatura às aulas de Geografia, é possível estimular o interesse dos alunos pelos conteúdos e promover uma aprendizagem mais significativa. Desta forma, a utilização do livro "O Pequeno Príncipe" como base para as atividades que integrem Geografia e Literatura, destaca-se por ser uma obra rica em conteúdos geográficos e com uma linguagem acessível e interessante para os alunos dos anos iniciais. A proposta metodológica apresentada envolveu três etapas: pesquisa bibliográfica, leitura e estudo da obra escolhida, elaboração da sequência didática que foi desenvolvida com os estudantes e sua aplicação. A parte final consiste na apresentação da atividade construída pelos alunos na cerimônia de abertura na 26ª Feira do Livro de Nova Petrópolis-RS, mostrando que a Literatura juntamente com a geografia resultou em um instrumento capaz de ofertar conhecimento geográfico, isso através dos planetinhas.

The work presents a proposal for interdisciplinary activities between Geography and literature, with the aim of offering more playful and enjoyable activities for students in the early years of elementary school. Furthermore, it proposes work that combines Geography and literature as an alternative for the use of different languages in educational spaces. By integrating literature into Geography classes, it is possible to stimulate students' interest in the content and promote more meaningful learning. In this way, the use of the book "The Little Prince" as a basis for activities that integrate Geography and literature, stands out for being a work rich in geographic content and with an accessible and interesting language for students in the early years. The methodological proposal presented involved three stages: bibliographical research, reading and study of the chosen work, elaboration of the didactic sequence that was developed with the students and its application. The final part consists of the presentation of the activity constructed by the students at the opening ceremony at the 26th Book Fair in Nova Petrópolis-RS, showing that literature together with geography resulted in an instrument capable of offering geographic knowledge, through little planets.
