Dicionário Spread the Sign-Brasil : análise e proposta de melhoria

Abstract

Este texto tem como temática a Lexicografia em Libras. Seu objetivo éapresentar os resultados da análise do dicionário Spread the Sign Brasil (STS-Brasil) e algumas propostas para sua melhoria resultantes de pesquisa de doutorado. Os pressupostos teóricos sustentam-se em autores que tratam da Lexicografia, Lexicografia Pedagógica e Lexicografia em Libras. Para a análise do STS-Brasil, foram estabelecidos diversos critérios, entre os quais estão os usuários, a função, as informações relativas à macro e à microestrutura e as formas de acesso. Como resultado, foram identificadas várias lacunas como a ausência de busca de palavras por ordem alfabética em português e pelos sinais e a inexistência de exemplos tanto em Libras como em português. Com os resultados obtidos, almeja-se oferecer subsídios para os estudos de Lexicografia em Libras, bem como destacar a importância das análises de obras que incluam essa língua a fim de aprimorá-las.

This text is about lexicography in Libras. Its objective is to present the results of the analysis of the Spread the Sign Brazil (STS-Brazil) dictionary and some proposals for its improvement resulting from doctoral research. The theoretical assumptions are based on authors who deal with lexicography, pedagogical lexicography and lexicography in Libras. For the STS-Brazil analysis, several criteria were established, including users, function, information related to macro and microstructure and forms of access. As a result, several gaps were identified, such as the absence of word searches in alphabetical order in Portuguese and by signs and the lack of examples in both Libras and Portuguese. With the results obtained, the aim is to provide supportfor studies of lexicography in Libras, as well as to highlight the importance of analyzing works that include this language in order to improve them.
