O infantil em Freud e em Benjamin : construindo caminhos para além da melancolia no laço social

Abstract

Nesta tese, apresenta-se, em uma escrita ensaística, uma pesquisa teórica acerca da melancolia que assola o nosso tempo. A partir dos escritos de Sigmund Freud e Walter Benjamin, vamos costurando diferentes conceitos na psicanálise e na filosofia. Falando da guerra, ambos os autores trazem os soldados, que retornam mudos do campo de batalha, devido aos choques que vivenciaram. De modo mais próximo de nossa cultura, a pressa de nosso tempo e as violências a que estamos acometidos todos os dias na atualidade nos reportam a vivências, que podemos nomear de traumáticas. Em um primeiro momento, trauma, vivência, inconsciente e imagem se entrelaçam, então, na construção da tese, para fazer pensar a melancolia social como efeito de uma sociedade sem muitos espaços de narração, onde a pulsão de morte se expressa livremente. Esses fatores são investigados mais amplamente no percurso da escrita, pensando que a melancolia do laço com o outro interessa à educação, enquanto necessidade de tencionar meios de fazer operar a transmissão e a invenção de um comum e suas relações com a autoridade. Retomando o caráter infantil presente na melancolia, a partir também das contribuições de Sándor Ferenczi e Donald Winnicott, em um segundo momento, o brincar rouba a cena, para torcer as vivências infantis em possibilidades criativas de elaboração. E que possibilidades teríamos coletivamente neste eixo do brincar? O que do infantil poderia nos libertar de um estado melancólico? O brincar inicia, em um jogo com a mãe ou cuidador, para fazer valer a fantasia que conecta a criança ao mundo, em uma realidade compartilhada. A história do brinquedo e os movimentos da infância, assim, ganham espaço, demonstrando a tríade infantil, melancolia e inconsciente, enquanto as críticas à educação trazidas por Benjamin e Freud recordam a força da marca do infantil na construção da autoridade. Nesse movimento, em um terceiro momento, o método de investigação e escrita elaborado pelos autores indica um caminho a seguir, em que leituras acerca das memórias de infância de ambos são colecionadas, na busca de inspiração para o desenho de saídas possíveis aos estados melancólicos. Buscando o brincar enquanto mola propulsora da criação, reformulamos a questão: o que do infantil poderia nos conduzir à criação de estratégias que possibilitem uma vida em comum mais fraterna? Neste ponto, brotam com intensidade, na quarta seção da tese, as lembranças dos companheiros de brincadeiras em Freud e as marcas da cidade em Benjamin, fazendo emergir as noções da função fraterna e da flânerie como ferramentas possíveis para pensar os caminhos de construção e sustentação do laço social.

In this thesis, it is presented, in an essay writing, a theoretical research about the melancholy that plagues our time. From the writings of Sigmund Freud and Walter Benjamin, we are sewing different concepts in psychoanalysis and philosophy. Speaking of war, both authors bring the soldiers, who return mute from the battlefield, due to the shocks they have experienced. Closer to our culture, the rush of our time and the violence to which we are affected every day lead us to experiences what we can call traumatic. At first, trauma, experience, unconsciousness and image are close together, then, in the construction of the thesis, we present social melancholy as an effect of a society where, without many spaces for narration, the death drive is freely expressed. These factors are investigated more widely in the course of writing, thinking that the melancholy of the bond interest to education, as a need of transmission and invention of a common, while its relations with authority operate. Bringing the infantile character present in melancholy, also based on the contributions of Sándor Ferenczi and Donald Winnicott, in a second moment, playing appears, to twist childhood experiences into creative possibilities of elaboration. And what possibilities would we have collectively in this axis of playing? What infantile part could free us from a melancholic state? Play begins, in a game with the mother or caregiver, to assert the fantasy that connects the child to the world, in a shared reality. The history of toys and childhood movements, thus, gain space, demonstrating the infantile triad, melancholy and unconsciousness, while the criticisms of education brought by Benjamin and Freud recall the strength of the infantile mark in the construction of authority. In this movement, in a third moment, the research and writing method developed by the authors indicates a path to follow, in which childhood memories of both are collected, in the search for inspiration for the design of possible solutions to melancholic states. Seeking play as the driving force behind creation, we reformulate the question: what about childhood could lead us to the creation of strategies that enable a more fraternal life together? At this point, in the fourth section of the thesis, the memories of playmates in Freud and the marks of the city in Benjamin emerge with intensity, giving rise to the notions of fraternal function and flânerie as possible tools to think about the paths of construction and support of the social bond.
