Entre as correrias e o fazer um monte de nada : dinâmicas de vida e os atravessamentos da violência no usufruto do lazer de mulheres negras

Abstract

Cidade localizada na região metropolitana de Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, o município de Novo Hamburgo constitui a região do Vale dos Sinos. Com índices significativos em tentativas de feminicídio do estado, Novo Hamburgo é uma cidade que, ao mesmo passo que enaltece a colonização alemã, invisibiliza trajetória da comunidade negra que já existia antes da chegada dos colonizadores. É nesse contexto que esta pesquisa se situa, e seu objetivo é analisar, através das narrativas de seis mulheres negras que vivem em contextos de violência de gênero em Novo Hamburgo, as dinâmicas do cotidiano e as possibilidades de lazer. A partir do mapa da violência contra mulheres pretas e partas de Novo Hamburgo, o estudo utiliza a oralidade e a escrevivência como ferramentas de produção e análise das conversas com seis interlocutoras, mulheres negras moradoras desse território. No processo de realização da pesquisa, compreendemos que o ‘termo’ lazer não parece fazer sentido para as interlocutoras, mas essas mulheres negras narram a “correria” em seus cotidianos. Essa categoria emerge do campo, pode ser experenciada de várias formas e faz com que compreendamos que é um agente importante na organização e dinâmicas da vida dessas mulheres. De forma relacional à “correia”, tem-se a categoria “fazer um monte da nada”, a qual se caracteriza por uma determinada condição de usufruto da experiência (de uma certa noção de tranquilidade) na correria, algo que não dá garantias de continuidade, sendo assim, efêmero. Ao mesmo passo, nessa região, a violência reorganiza a correria, não suspendendo do cotidiano, mas intensificando a correria e podendo acionar manejos/inventividades/violências para um reestabelecimento da correria cotidiana. A violência, portanto, compõe a correria, assim como o “fazer um monte de nada”.

Located in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, the municipality of Novo Hamburgo is part of the Vale dos Sinos region. With significant rates of attempted femicide in the state, Novo Hamburgo is a city that, while extolling German colonization, makes the trajectory of the black community that existed before the arrival of the colonizers invisible. This research is situated in this context, and its objective is to analyze, through the narratives of six black women who live in contexts of gender violence in Novo Hamburgo, the dynamics of daily life and the possibilities of leisure. Based on the map of violence against black and brown women in Novo Hamburgo, the study uses orality and writing as tools for producing and analyzing conversations with six interlocutors, black women living in this territory. In the process of conducting the research, we understood that the ‘term’ leisure does not seem to make sense to the interlocutors, but these black women narrate the “rush” in their daily lives. This category emerges from the field, can be experienced in various ways, and makes us understand that it is an important agent in the organization and dynamics of these women’s lives. In relation to “rush,” there is the category “making a lot out of nothing,” which is characterized by a certain condition of enjoying the experience (of a certain notion of tranquility) in a rush, something that does not guarantee continuity and is therefore ephemeral. At the same time, in this region, violence reorganizes the rush, not suspending it from daily life, but intensifying the rush and being able to trigger manipulations/inventiveness/violence to reestablish the daily rush. Violence, therefore, composes the rush, as does “making a lot out of nothing.”
