O BRICS e a sua atuação na FAO (2015-2023)

Abstract

Esta monografia busca verificar a influência do BRICS no combate à fome mundial em parceria com a Organização das Nações Unidas para Alimentação e Agricultura, assim como suas estratégias de cooperação internas. O grupo atua através do incentivo ao intercâmbio técnico visando a melhoria das condições de vida dos países membros. O estudo foi realizado a partir de uma análise hipotética dedutiva, apresenta dados quantitativos e qualitativos consolidados sobre o tema. A hipótese principal do trabalho diz respeito ao auxílio consistente que o BRICS dá à FAO e como esse fórum é essencial na criação e promoção de políticas públicas relacionadas ao combate à fome e a garantia de Segurança Alimentar aos países, visto que possui programas já consolidados e a troca dessas experiências no grupo. A monografia busca analisar a importância da cooperação entre os países subdesenvolvidos constituintes do BRICS no combate a insegurança alimentar crescente no mundo, não levará em consideração a recente ampliação o BRICS +.

This monograph seeks to verify the influence of BRICS in the fight against world hunger in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, as well as its internal cooperation strategies. The group acts by encouraging technical exchanges aimed at improving the living conditions of its member countries. The study was based on a hypothetical deductive analysis, presenting consolidated quantitative and qualitative data on the subject. The main hypothesis of the work concerns the consistent support that the BRICS gives to the FAO and how this forum is essential in the creation and promotion of public policies related to combating hunger and guaranteeing Food Security to countries, since it has already consolidated programs and the exchange of these experiences in the group. The monograph seeks to analyze the importance of cooperation between the underdeveloped countries that make up the BRICS in the fight against growing food insecurity in the world, and will not take into account the recent expansion of BRICS +.
