O novo em Hegel e Hannah Arendt : uma alternativa de horizonte de mundo frente às questões de Constant e Berlin

Abstract

Neste trabalho busca-se investigar se certos conceitos trabalhados por Hegel nas Linhas Fundamentais da Filosofia do Direito e por Hannah Arendt em A Condição Humana podem apresentar uma alternativa de horizonte de mundo para as análises de época da modernidade apresentadas por Benjamin Constant, em Da Liberdade dos Antigos Comparada à dos Modernos, e por Isaiah Berlin, em Dois Conceitos de Liberdade. Recorreremos para isso à uma chave de leitura que Marcos Nobre realiza da Fenomenologia do Espírito de Hegel no livro Como Nasce o Novo, a uma revisão teórica de temas centrais da filosofia política hegeliana e a uma revisão teórica de temas centrais da filosofia política arendtiana. A ideia é verificar se tanto Hegel quanto Arendt podem apresentar contrapontos para as preocupações apresentadas por Constant e Berlin acerca da liberdade dos antigos, ou liberdade positiva, e contribuir teoricamente para uma retomada do caráter político da esfera pública enquanto parte constituinte de um mundo comum.

This paper seeks to investigate whether certain concepts developed by Hegel in the Philosophy of Right and by Hannah Arendt in The Human Condition can present an alternative world horizon for the analyses of the modern era presented by Benjamin Constant, in On the Freedom of the Ancients Compared to that of the Moderns, and by Isaiah Berlin, in Two Concepts of Freedom. For this purpose, we will resort to a key reading that Marcos Nobre uses of Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit in the book How the New Is Born, to a theoretical review of central themes of Hegelian political philosophy and to a theoretical review of central themes of Arendtian political philosophy. The idea is to verify whether both Hegel and Arendt can present counterpoints to the concerns presented by Constant and Berlin regarding the freedom of the ancients, or positive freedom, and contribute theoretically to a resumption of the political character of the public sphere as a constituent part of a common world.
