Abstract

Corpos é um Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso que propõe desenvolver uma poética visual que aborde o tema da morte e da violência social através da representação da figura humana no desenho e na pintura. A trajetória anterior do autor que constrói esta proposta é apresentada e tem como intuito evidenciar a prática artística como ponto de partida. Os referenciais teóricos e as questões conceituais são estudados para aprofundar as reflexões trazidas nas obras, focando em como a imagem da morte na sociedade contemporânea relaciona-se com os características formais das pinturas e desenhos produzidos pelo autor. Como resultado, além da apresentação visual e constatações sobre as obras, procuraremos também ampliar as possibilidades da presente pesquisa, visando à continuidade da investigação poética.

Bodies is a Final Term Paper that proposes to develop a visual poetics that addresses the theme of death and social violence through the representation of the human figure in drawing and painting. The author’s previous trajectory that makes this proposal is presented and has as intention to show the artistic practice as starting point. The theoretical framework and the conceptual issues are discussed to deepen the reflections brought in the works of art, focusing in how the image of death in the contemporary society relates to the formal features of the paintings and drawings produced by the author. As result, beyond the visual presentation and findings about the works, we seek too to amplify the possibilities of the present research, aiming to the continuity of the poetics investigation.
