Metodologia versus temática : uma análise dos trabalhos de conclusão do curso de Arquivologia da UFRGS

Abstract

O Arquivista é um pesquisador em sua essência. Ele inicia o seu trabalho levantando informações para o entendimento global da Instituição ao qual está vinculado. Esse tipo de pesquisa, o graduando em Arquivologia da UFRGS está familiarizado, porém existe aquela gerada no desempenho discente e docente e nos grupos de pesquisa. O desejo de saber mais sobre essa possibilidade de pesquisa intraacadêmica gerou esse trabalho. Esmiuçando o tema, decidiu-se enfocar no estudo dos caminhos metodológicos utilizadas nessa atuação. Este trabalho é um estudo descritivo sobre as temáticas e as metodologias de pesquisa utilizadas nos 102 trabalhos de conclusão do curso de Arquivologia da UFRGS. A amostra se refere aos trabalhos disponíveis de forma online no período entre 2008 e 2016. Os dados foram analisados quantitativa e qualitativamente. Na classificação temática, utilizou-se a tabela do estado da arte proposta por Juan Voutssás Márquez e para metodologia diversos autores. De acordo com os resultados, temos uma concentração de trabalhos nas temáticas do Grupo 2 (A Prática Arquivística) e do Grupo 5 (Arquivística no ambiente das Instituições e da Sociedade), seguidos pelos outros três grupos que se equiparam em número entre si. Em termos de metodologia, houve uma maior amplitude de nomenclaturas, destacando-se Pesquisa Exploratória, Pesquisa Descritiva, Pesquisa Bibliográfica, Pesquisa Documental e o Estudo de Caso. Os dados indicam que não há uma relação direta entre temática e metodologia, podendo haver uma correlação indireta.

The Archivist is a researcher at its core. It begins its work by raising information for the overall understanding of the Institution to which it is linked. This type of research, graduating in Archivology of UFRGS is familiar, but there is that generated in the student and teaching performance and in the groups of research. The desire to know more about this possibility of intra-academic research generated this work. By focusing on the theme, it was decided to focus on the study of the methodological paths used in this action. This work is a descriptive research on the thematic and research methodologies used in 102 conclusion works of the Archivology course of UFRGS. The sample refers to the works available online in the period between 2008 and 2016. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. In the thematic classification, the table of the state of the art proposed by Juan Voutssás Márquez and for methodology several authors was used. According to the results, we have a concentration of works on the themes of Group 2 (The Archival Practice) and Group 5 (Archival in the environment of Institutions and Society), followed by the other three groups that are equipped in number with each other. In terms of methodology, there was a greater range of nomenclatures, especially Exploratory Research, Descriptive Research, Bibliographic Research, Documentary Research and the Case Study. The data indicate that there is no direct relationship between the thematic and methodology, and there may be an indirect correlation.
