Sociedade, cultura, educação: os processos de aprendizagem para gestão ética do meio ambiente na escola

Abstract

Neste trabalho buscou-se criar uma proposta de estudo dos plásticos a partir das temáticas relacionadas com os cuidados do meio ambiente sugerida pelos alunos. O objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar os entendimentos destes estudantes acerca dos aspectos culturais, sociais, políticos e científicos vinculados ao estudo dos plásticos e de alguma forma contribuir para a diminuição da utilização indiscriminada e acrítica dos mesmos. Foi possível observar a mudança nos entendimentos que estes estudantes tinham sobre fabricação, composição e reciclagem e sua apropriação do conhecimento científico. No entanto, o pouco tempo disponível para a realização do projeto não possibilitou a avaliação da mudança de atitude destes estudantes frente aos problemas causados no meio ambiente, mas evidenciou que essa é uma preocupação chave e que se ampliou do social e cultural midiático para o político social.

This paper sought to create a proposal to study plastics from the themes related to caring for the environment suggested by students. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the understanding of those students about cultural, social, political and scientific aspects linked to the study of plastics, and in some way contribute to reduce the indiscriminate, uncritical use of plastics. It was possible to observe a change in the understanding those students had about manufacture, composition and recycling, and their incorporation of scientific knowledge. However, the short time available to carry out this project did not allow to evaluate the change in attitude by those students in the face of the problems caused to the environment, but it became evident that this is a key concern that has broadened from the social and cultural in the media to the social political.
