O uso pedagógico da rede social YouTube

Abstract

A presente pesquisa investiga o uso do site de rede social Youtube no processo de ensino da matemática nos anos finais do ensino fundamental; assim como, produzir tutorial voltado a educadores interessados no tema. A metodologia teve uma abordagem exploratória, descritiva e bibliográfica, tendo um cunho qualitativo, sendo desenvolvida na escola municipal de ensino fundamental Afonso Guerreiro Lima de Sapucaia do Sul, RS. Os dados de análise foram extraídos de questionários fornecidos aos alunos e educadores da escola onde a pesquisadora atua; e investigação de canais voltados à educação e ao ensino de matemática. Para análise dos dados foram contabilizados os dados dos questionários, sendo os mesmos representados através de gráficos demonstrativos, fazendo algumas comparações entre os resultados obtidos e também a análise dos educadores. A discussão teórica foi baseada nos conceitos de site de rede social YouTube, educação, imigrantes digitais / nativos digitais, e o uso de tecnologias na perspectiva d Base Nacional Comum Curricular. A análise dos dados evidenciou que o acesso às redes sociais através de dispositivos móveis é muito utilizado pelos alunos, sendo que na sua maioria, acessam a rede social YouTube. Os educadores que participaram do questionamento concordam que os sites de redes sociais, e o uso das tecnologias como ferramentas pedagógicas, são de suma importância para a o ensinoaprendizagem de seus educandos. Também foram analisados canais relacionados com a educação e ao ensino de matemática, e com base nesses dados, a autora criou um pequeno tutorial com os passos que se devem seguir para criação de uma videoaula do conteúdo trabalhado em sala de aula e criação de um canal pedagógico no site de rede social YouTube.

The present research investigates the use of the social networking website YouTube in the process of teaching mathematics in the final years of elementary school; as well as, producing a tutorial aimed at educators interested in the subject. The methodology had an exploratory, descriptive and bibliographical approach, having a qualitative character, being developed at Afonso Guerreiro Lima Municipal School in Sapucaia do Sul, RS. The analysis data were extracted from questionnaires provided to the students and educators of the school where the researcher works; and research on education and mathematics teaching channels. For the analysis of the data, the data of the questionnaires were counted, being represented by demonstrative graphs, making some comparisons between the results obtained and also the analysis of the educators. The theoretical discussion was based on the concepts of social network site YouTube, education, digital immigrants / digital natives, and the use of technologies in the perspective of the National Curricular Common Base. The data analysis showed that access to social networks through mobile devices is widely used by students, and most of them, access the YouTube social network. The educators who participated in the questioning agree that social networking sites, and the use of technologies as pedagogical tools, are of major importance to the teaching-learning of their learners. In this work were also analyzed channels related to education and mathematics teaching, and based on these data, the author created a small tutorial with the steps that must be followed to create a video lesson of the content worked in the classroom and creation of a pedagogical channel on the YouTube social networking site.
