As imagens ultrassonográficas do trato reprodutivo de cadelas e gatas : estudo prospectivo com 104 fêmeas

Abstract

As doenças do sistema reprodutor são comuns na medicina veterinária, tanto nas fêmeas quanto nos machos das diferentes espécies (Previato et al 2005), estas podendo apresentar consequências variadas que se estendem da ausência de sinais clínicos, comprometendo somente a fertilidade do animal e passando despercebidas ao proprietário, até manifestações clínicas agudas, que podem conduzir a morte (Nascimento, et al 2011). O aparelho reprodutor feminino frequentemente é avaliado dentro da rotina de exames ultrassonográficos abdominais de pequenos animais, da mesma forma em outras espécies. O útero e os ovários de cadelas e gatas é frequentemente avaliado através da ultrassonografia abdominal na rotina da clínica médica. Pois problemas reprodutivos em fêmeas são muito comuns, entre eles, cistos ovarianos (em razão do ciclo estral ou não), piometra, granulomas ou abscessos resultantes de reação ao fio de sutura, piometra de coto e neoplasias. Sendo a ultrassonografia abdominal total uma importante ferramenta nestes diagnósticos (Daleck, De Nardi e Rodaski, 2009). O objetivo da revisão bibliográfica e a análise de resultados dos exames histopatológicos e de ultrassonografia do trato reprodutivo das 104 cadelas e gatas das quais tiveram útero e ovários encaminhados para a realização do exame histopatológico e realizaram o exame de imagem no HCV da UFRGS, no período de Junho de 2016 a Maio de 2017, é obter dados quanto a eficácia do exame ultrassonográfico como método de diagnóstico precoce em comuns alterações no trato reprodutivo de cadelas e gatas.

The objective of the bibliographic review and the analysis of the results of the histopathological and ultrasonographic examinations of the reproductive tract of the 104 bitches and cats of which uterus and ovaries were submitted to the histopathological examination and performed the image examination in the HCV of the UFRGS in the period From June 2016 to May 2017, is to obtain data on the effectiveness of ultrasound examination as a method of early diagnosis in common changes in the reproductive tract of bitches and cats.
