O Lugar do estudante em distorção idade-série

Abstract

Esta dissertação busca analisar o lugar dos estudantes em distorção idade-série no Instituto Estadual de Educação Paulo da Gama, na cidade de Porto Alegre/RS. Nas escritas utilizo a metáfora da construção da poesia de cordel para construir a pesquisa. No primeiro capítulo deste trabalho, escrevo as justificativas para a escolha do tema da investigação, assim como os objetivos gerais e específicos. Em seguida apresento o referencial teórico, no qual autores como Massey, Goulart, Gallo e Foucault auxiliam para contextualizar os conceitos que norteiam a investigação, a saber: lugar, ensino e aprendizagem e contraconduta. Ainda esta seção do referencial teórico é subdividida em cinco subseções, as quais discutem os conceitos estruturantes, a problemática da distorção idade-série e as propostas do Programa Trajetória Criativas. No capítulo a seguir da pesquisa, apresentam-se os recursos metodológicos utilizados, com referência principal à bricolagem. A delimitação do campo de estudo, sujeitos e métodos empregados, é explicada neste capítulo. Passo a escrever no capítulo quatro sobre as observações, análises e descobertas realizadas nas entrevistas realizadas com os sujeitos da pesquisa. Buscou-se conectar as narrativas dos estudantes entrevistados com os conceitos da pesquisa. A pesquisa foi construída no movimento dos acontecimentos, no sentir das entrevistas, ela não se constitui de uma forma linear, mas com base nas teorias pós– estruturalistas construídas em rede, nas idas e vindas da investigação. No capítulo final da pesquisa, escrevo sobre as minhas observações e percepções durante a pesquisa, meus sentimentos, aprendizagens, desafios e fragilidades, bem como manifesto a importância do estudo e a relevância da problemática na qual a pesquisa está inserida.

This dissertation seeks to analyze the place of students in age-grade distortion at the Paulo da Gama State Institute of Education, in the city of Porto Alegre/RS. In the writings I use the metaphor of the construction of string poetry to build the research. In the first chapter of this work, I write the justifications for choosing the research theme, as well as the general and specific objectives. Then I present the theoretical framework, in which authors such as Massey, Goulart, Gallo and Foucault help to contextualize the concepts that guide the investigation, namely: place, teaching and learning and counter-conduct. This section of the theoretical framework is further subdivided into five subsections, which discuss the structuring concepts, the problem of age-grade distortion and the proposals of the Creative Trajectory Program. In the following chapter of the research, the methodological resources used are presented, with main reference to bricolage. The delimitation of the field of study, subjects and methods employed is explained in this chapter. I will now write in chapter four about the observations, analyzes and discoveries made in the interviews carried out with the research subjects. We sought to connect the interviewed students' narratives with the research concepts. The research was built in the movement of events, in the sense of the interviews, it is not constituted in a linear way, but based on post-structuralist theories built in a network, in the comings and goings of the investigation. In the final chapter of the research, I write about my observations and perceptions during the research, my feelings, learning, challenges and weaknesses, as well as expressing the importance of the study and the relevance of the problem in which the research is inserted.
