Educação e cidadania : prática dialógicas e instauradoras na escola

Abstract

Esta pesquisa investiga como as práticas educativas e o espaço escolar, podem marcar as trajetórias de vida dos sujeitos e contribuir para a construção da cidadania, através do estudo do lugar. Pretende auxiliar na compreensão das produções materiais e simbólicas, que condicionam o modo de ser e de aprender dos sujeitos que integram a comunidade escolar. Descreve e analisa as narrativas e experiências didático-pedagógicas, realizadas em uma instituição municipal de ensino fundamental, localizada no bairro Restinga, em Porto Alegre/RS, privilegiando a observação de práticas dialógicas, que deram origem à produção de saberes e materiais didáticos que valorizam a história e a geografia do lugar, evidenciando a perspectiva dos sujeitos que formam a comunidade escolar. As atividades analisadas serviram como instrumento catalizador de relações dialógicas entre os diversos segmentos da comunidade escolar, promovendo ações educativas, que marcaram a trajetória dos sujeitos em suas comunidades. Tem como objetivo, contribuir para a compreensão do papel da escola pública e das atividades pedagógicas, voltadas à formação para a cidadania.

This research investigates how the educational practices and the school space can mark the life trajectories of the subjects and contribute to the construction of citizenship, through the study of the place. It intends to help in the understanding of material and symbolic productions, which condition the way of being and learning of the subjects that are parto f the school community. It describes and analyzes the narratives and didactic-pedagogical experiences, carried out in a municipal elementar and middle education institucion, located in the Restinga neighborhood, in Porto Alegre/RS, emphasizing the observations of dialogical practices, which gave rise to the production of knowledge and teaching materials that value the history and geography of the place, evidencing the perspective of the subjects who are part of the school community. Its objective is to contribute to the understanding of the role of the public school and of pedagogical activities, aimed at training for citizenship.
