Representações de corpo-identidade em histórias de vida

Abstract

Considerando questões centrais das versões pós-estruturalistas dos Estudos Culturais e proposições de Foucault, interroguei o binarismo corpo/organismo instituído pelo regime da Biologia. As práticas discursivas das disciplinas, ao legitimarem os conhecimentos “verdadeiros”, desconsideram os demais saberes – os “falsos” –, vêm atuando mais no ordenamento e controle das pessoas do que na produção de saberes relevantes. A partir de narrativas de professores/as de Biologia sobre momentos significativos, na família, busquei olhar nos corpos, para além do regime da Biologia, e perceber como outras práticas culturais vêm participando da transformação da materialidade humana naquilo que nomeamos o corpo especialmente, neste estudo, da Mulher, da Mãe, do Feminino, e interrogar esses estereótipos que precedem e atravessam os corpos, fabricando as pessoas.

Considering central issues of the post-structuralist versions of Cultural Studies and Foucault’s propositions, I have questioned the body/organism binary system established under the Biology regime. The discursive practices of the subjects, by legitimating the “true” knowledge, disregard the other types of knowledge, the “false” knowledge. They have acted more on the regulation and control of people than on the production of relevant knowledge. From the narratives of Biology teachers on meaningful moments in life, I have attempted to look at the bodies, beyond the Biology regime, and perceive how other cultural practices have been acting on the change of human materiality into what we call the body, especially, in this study, the Woman, the Mother, the Feminine, and question these stereotypes that precede and traverse the bodies, making up the people.
