Uma análise discursiva de formulações jornalísticas : corpos criminosos e corpos inocentes

Abstract

A pesquisa se insere no campo da Análise de Discurso Materialista, com o propósito de compreender os efeitos de sentido presentes em textos jornalísticos relacionados à venda de drogas ilícitas. O interesse por esse estudo surge da observação de que as formulações jornalísticas adotam abordagens distintas ao descrever os agentes envolvidos nesse cenário como "estudantes" ou "traficantes". Na primeira seção do desenvolvimento, inicio a análise direcionando a atenção para os efeitos de sentido gerados pelos substantivos "estudante" e "traficante" nas formulações jornalísticas. Em seguida, examino como outros elementos linguísticos interagem com os substantivos "estudante" e "traficante" na construção e manutenção das discursividades associadas a cada um. Posteriormente, investigo os efeitos de sentido de "suspeito" nos títulos das notícias. Na fase conclusiva da pesquisa, conduzo uma análise de partes específicas dos textos jornalísticos e uma reflexão sobre as impossibilidades de formulações levando em consideração a posição-ideológica sustentada pelos jornais on-line. A despeito de algumas questões que permanecem em aberto, a pesquisa alcançou resultados significativos, embora parciais. Em relação aos objetivos estabelecidos, foi possível compreender que a construção e manutenção dos discursos sobre os corpos "criminosos" ou "inocentes" estão intrinsecamente relacionadas às discursividades jornalísticas, ao aparelho jurídico e estatal.

The research falls within the field of Materialist Discourse Analysis, with the purpose of understanding the effects of meaning present in journalistic texts related to the sale of illicit drugs. The interest in this study arises from the observation that journalistic formulations adopt different approaches when describing the agents involved in this scenario as "students" or "drug dealers". In the first section of the development, I begin the analysis by directing attention to the effects of meaning generated by the nouns "student" and "drug dealer" in journalistic formulations. Next, I examine how other linguistic elements interact with the nouns "student" and "traficante" in the construction and maintenance of the discursivities associated with each one. Subsequently, I investigate the discursive functioning of the term "suspect" in news titles. In the conclusive phase of the research, I conduct an analysis of specific parts of the journalistic texts and a reflection on the impossibilities of formulations taking into account the ideological position supported by online newspapers. Despite some questions that remain open, the research achieved significant, albeit partial, results. In relation to the established objectives, it was possible to understand that the construction and maintenance of discourses about "criminal" or "innocent" bodies are intrinsically related to journalistic discourses, the legal and state apparatus.
