A monetização da saúde dos trabalhadores rurais que lidam com agrotóxicos

Abstract

O presente trabalho visa investigar de que forma ocorre a monetização da saúde dos trabalhadores e trabalhadoras rurais que lidam com agrotóxicos. Para tanto, inicialmente, analisou-se quais os impactos do uso de agrotóxicos na saúde desses trabalhadores. Após, buscou-se investigar qual é o arcabouço jurídico que objetiva proteger à saúde dos trabalhadores, analisando a insuficiência dessa proteção. Em um segundo momento, conferiu-se a insuficiência dos adicionais de salário. Ainda, analisou-se como as decisões judiciais do TRT-4 e de outros tribunais, que versam sobre a temática, impactam socialmente as vidas de quem lida com agrotóxicos no seu respectivo meio laboral. Por fim, realizou-se apontamentos sobre como melhorar a qualidade de vida e reduzir os adoecimentos de pessoas trabalhadoras rurais que lidam com agrotóxicos. O método empregado é o hipotético-dedutivo, utilizando-se como técnica de pesquisa a documentação indireta em fontes primárias e secundárias bibliográficas e jurisprudenciais.

The present work aims to investigate how the health of rural workers who deal with pesticides is monetized. To do so, initially, the impacts of the use of pesticides on the health of these workers were analyzed. Afterwards, we sought to investigate what is the legal framework that aims to protect the health of workers, analyzing the insufficiency of this protection. In a second moment, the insufficiency of additional wages was verified. Also, it was analyzed how the judicial decisions of the TRT-4 and other courts, which deal with the subject, socially impact the lives of those who deal with pesticides in their respective work environments. Finally, notes were made on how to improve the quality of life and reduce the illnesses of rural workers who deal with pesticides. The method employed is hypothetical-deductive, using indirect documentation in primary and secondary bibliographic and jurisprudential sources as a research technique.
