Lembranças que restam : ressignificação de objetos pelo afeto

Abstract

A relação entre memória, afeto e objetos pessoais, conhecidos como objetos de afeto, orienta esta pesquisa poética que investiga como itens cotidianos guardam histórias e sentimentos por meio da criação de um livro ilustrado, peças cerâmicas e a construção de um memorial visual e narrativo, no qual roupas, acessórios e pequenos objetos são revisitados e reorganizados, revelando vínculos familiares e experiências passadas. Ao revisitar cada objeto, compreende-se como eles transcendem a função utilitária, tornando-se portadores de memória e afetividade. Essa abordagem evidencia a dimensão simbólica do cotidiano e demonstra como objetos comuns podem expressar permanência e história. A prática de registrar, ilustrar e narrar esses objetos permite refletir sobre o poder da memória material e a forma como as lembranças se entrelaçam com sentimentos.

The relationship between memory, affection, and personal belongings , understood here as objects of affection, guides this poetic research, which investigates how everyday items carry stories and emotions. The work unfolds, through the creation of an illustrated book and ceramic pieces, a visual and narrative memorial in which clothing, accessories, and small objects are revisited and reorganized, revealing family bonds and past experiences. By revisiting each object, it becomes clear how these items transcend their utilitarian function, bearing memory and affective meaning. This approach highlights the symbolic dimension of daily life and demonstrates how ordinary objects can express permanence and personal history. The practice of documenting, illustrating, and narrating these objects enables reflection on the power of material memory and on the ways in which recollections intertwine with emotion.
