Avaliação da residência integrada multiprofissional em saúde na profissão farmacêutica

Abstract

A formulação da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional de 1996 trouxe reflexões sobre a formação integral do aluno. Partindo-se do princípio da integralidade, amplos debates foram abertos a respeito do papel da instituição de graduação na formação dos futuros profissionais da área da saúde, sendo esses atuais responsáveis pelo rumo dado à saúde brasileira. Currículos anteriores à Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional de 1996 formaram farmacêuticos considerados tecnicistas por não obterem aproximação, durante a graduação, de princípios e diretrizes do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). A Residência Integrada Multiprofissional em Saúde (RIMS), considerada pós-graduação lato sensu baseada na formação em serviço, aparece como uma oportunidade de aproximar o profissional do SUS. As bases de atenção integral e interdisciplinaridade fundamentam a RIMS com o objetivo de formar profissionais com um perfil novo, adequando-os à nova necessidade do mercado. O presente estudo determina o perfil do farmacêutico que busca essa especialização, assim como verificar o impacto que a RIMS tem em sua formação profissional. As entrevistas foram realizadas no Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre com todos os farmacêuticos residentes pertencentes ao programa. Os residentes entrevistados são oriundos de várias universidades do Rio Grande do Sul e Santa Catarina, porém, as universidades mais citadas foram a Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) e a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). A idade média dos participantes corresponde a 27 anos e 58% dos entrevistados concluíram a graduação baseados em currículos anteriores à formulação das Diretrizes Curriculares de 2002. Os residentes farmacêuticos têm obtido grande aprendizado e experiência através da RIMS, e um de seus objetivos é poder se inserir no âmbito hospitalar. Todavia, pela recente implementação do Programa de Residência Integrada Multiprofissional em Saúde do HCPA, é unânime que alguns pontos devem ser melhorados e outros mantidos. Além disso, 75% dos entrevistados pretendem realizar outra pós-graduação, sendo a mais citada o Mestrado Acadêmico. Através desses dados, percebe-se a busca constante de conhecimento por parte do profissional farmacêutico.

The formulation of the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education, dated from 1996, brought reflections on the integral formation of students. Based on the principle of completeness, extensive discussions have been open about the role of the graduation institutions in training future health professionals, the ones responsible for the direction given to the Brazilian health. Former curriculums to the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education formed technically trained pharmacists for not getting closer, during graduation, to the principles and guidelines of the Unified Health System. The Integrated Health Multiprofessional Residence (RIMS), considered post-graduation lato sensu based on in-service training, appears as an opportunity to approach the professional towards the Unified Health System. The basics of integral attention and interdisciplinary underlie RIMS in order to prepare students with a new profile, adapting them to new market needs. The present study aimed to define the profile of the pharmacist who seeks such expertise, as well as verify the impact from RIMS in his training. The interviews were conducted at the Clinicas Hospital of Porto Alegre (HCPA) with all residents pharmacists that belong to the program. The residents interviewed were from various universities of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, however, the most cited universities were PUCRS and UFRGS. The participants' average age is 27 years and 58% of respondents completed their graduation based on former curriculums, before the formulation of curriculum guidelines. It was noted that residents pharmacists have enjoyed great learning and experience through the RIMS, and one of their goals is to be able to enter in the hospital. However, the recent implementation of the Integrated Multidisciplinary Residency Program in Health of the HCPA is unanimous that some points should be improved and others must be kept. Moreover, it was found that 75% of respondents intend to hold another post-graduation, being the most cited the Academic Master. Through these data, we see the constant search for knowledge by the pharmacist.
