A ficção científica no ensino de português e literatura : uma proposta de unidade didática

Abstract

A presente monografia tem como foco analisar alguns caminhos possíveis para o ensino do gênero ficção científica, especialmente as distopias, nas aulas de língua portuguesa e literatura, tendo em vista um ensino em que a literatura cumpra seu papel humanizador e tenha como objetivo desenvolvimento crítico do discente. O presente trabalho teve como metodologia uma revisão bibliográfica sobre o ensino de Língua Portuguesa e Literatura e sobre o gênero Ficção Científica e os principais elementos que constituem esse gênero. Após a revisão bibliográfica, é feita uma proposição e análise de uma unidade didática com uma obra de ficção científica para ser utilizada na sala de aula, com objetivo de engajar os alunos na leitura literária e nos diversos temas relevantes que são ativados a partir da leitura. Confirmado seu potencial enquanto gênero que promove reflexões pertinentes sobre a realidade, a UD propõe a integração dos temas literatura, tecnologia e sociedade, contribuindo para a valorização das relações que se estabelecem entre sociedade e literatura, e buscando servir de auxílio ao professor que deseje trazer este gênero para as aulas de LPL. A unidade didática, portanto, sugere um modo de concretizar o trabalho em torno do gênero escolhido.

The present work analyzes some possible paths for the teaching of the science fiction genre, focusing on dystopian works, for Portuguese and Literature classes, aiming for a teaching through which literature fulfills its humanizing role and maintains as its objective the critical development of the student. The methodology of this work consists of a bibliographic review of Portuguese and Literature teaching, as well as of the science fiction genre and its main constitutive elements. After the bibliographic review, it is presented a proposal and analysis of a teaching unit, which makes use of a science fiction work to be used in the classroom, and which has as objective engaging students in literary reading and in the various relevant themes that are activated throughout this practice. Confirming its potential as a genre that promotes relevant reflections about reality, the teaching unit proposes the integration of literature, technology and society, contributing to the appreciation of the relationships that are established between society and literature, and seeking to help the teacher who wants to bring this genre to the Portuguese and Literature classes. The teaching unit, therefore, suggests a way to elaborate the work around the chosen genre.
